In preparation for upcoming actions, including the January 18 People’s March on Washington, this training will provide a review of the fundamentals of nonviolence and provide skills training in de-escalation. Please join us in person.
This training will be presented by a trainer from the DC Peace Teams.

If you want to take a free, coach bus to the People’s March on January 18, 2025, please click HERE to reserve your seat. The bus will leave Stony Run Friends Meeting, 5116 North Charles Street, Baltimore, MD 21210, at 8:00 a.m.. We will leave DC at 2:00 p.m. to return to Baltimore by 3:00 p.m. Stony Run Friends Meeting is just south of Northern Parkway (on the same campus as Friends School of Baltimore) and there is an off-street parking lot where you can leave your car. The Meetinghouse is the building visible from N. Charles Street with the long porch in the front. Spaces on the bus are filling quickly so don’t delay! Please consider bringing cash to tip the bus driver.
